Four years ago my beautiful daughter had emergency surgery for ovarian cancer.
Shari said ," I feel like a bucket of fresh fish has been thrown in my face. Three weeks ago I was teaching kick boxing and today, after a six hour intensive surgery two weeks ago, I am a cancer survivor."
I will write more about this later.
As my granddaughter and I stood by her Mom's casket, this brave twelve-year-old said, "she is in a better place."
Prior to the funeral, we went to the mortuary and she painted her Mom's fingernails.
