There are many integrative and traditional treatments for pain. Some may choose physical therapy, accupressure or accupunture with cupping, massage, ointments...osteopathy, hypnosis, self hypnosis, qi-Gong, energy medicine, electiric stimulators (on Amazon) emotion/body code (check out healer's library for practitioners, ozone therapy...are options.

I like the book, :Chronic Pain Solution," your personal path to pain relief, by Dr Dillard. There are many other books you can find on line.
I think it is also important to try some form of exercise when you have an injury. Consult your physician of physical therapist. Inactivty builds up lactic acid in the body and will cause more pain. If you can't afford massage, have a relative give you a massage. Check out Dr. Stephen E. West in his book "The Golden Seven Plus Two." He recommends lymphasizing which involves deep breathing. Dr. West says most pain is lack of oxygen. He states that when you sit on a hard chair for a while you realize it stops circulation. Deep breathing helps move the blood around and it becomes more oxygenated.

Defeating Depression

Prevent Suicide
God’s love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve love. It is simply always there.” Thomas S. Monson
https://www.lds.org/preventingsuicide/?lang=eng
Depression can be caused by anger you turn in on yourself, loss...loss of love, loss of control in your life...almost any loss, feeling guilty and feeling trapped.
There are also many chemical imbalances that can cause depression. It can begin in your gut....
Fish oil is the number one supplement "The Omega 3 Connection " recommends. I like Barlean's liquid lemon swirl. It tastes like lemon pie. 3 tablespoons a day.
If you are in a panic, I like Rescure Remedy, a Bach flower remedy.
Next, I like probiotics and I also like magnesium.
If you are not on antidepressants you may want to check out Zembrin.
Consult a Naturopath or D.O for natural remedies.
Google the candida questionnaire to see if you have candida. Neem pills help get rid of candida...it is a major player in chronic fatigue and also depression, anxiety and insomnia.
Exercise can help to dispel depression....Laughter can help,
Say "Cheese, " even a phony smile can raise your endorphins.
Write down what you are grateful for.
Do things for others.
You can buy my book used on Amazon for just pennies. "Defeating Depression & Beating the Blues." by Pat Webb

I love this Qi gong exercise on YouTube, only 13 minutes long.

Natural Pain Killers

Try These Painkillers from Mother Nature
If you have chronic pain of any kind, please understand that there are many safe and effective alternatives to prescription and over-the-counter painkillers. The pain remedies that follow are natural, providing excellent pain relief without any of the health hazards that pain medications often carry.
•Ginger: This herb is anti-inflammatory and offers pain relief and stomach-settling properties. Fresh ginger works well steeped in boilin...g water as a tea or grated into vegetable juice.
•Curcumin: Curcumin is the primary therapeutic compound identified in the spice turmeric. In a study of osteoarthritis patients, those who added only 200 mg of curcumin a day to their treatment plan had reduced pain and increased mobility. In fact, curcumin has been shown in over 50 clinical studies to have potent anti-inflammatory activity, as well as demonstrating the ability in four studies to reduce Tylenol-associated adverse health effects.
•Boswellia: Also known as boswellin or "Indian frankincense," this herb contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties, which have been prized for thousands of years. This is one of my personal favorites, as I have seen it work well with many rheumatoid arthritis patients.
•Bromelain: This protein-digesting enzyme, found in pineapples, is a natural anti-inflammatory. It can be taken in supplement form, but eating fresh pineapple may also be helpful. Keep in mind that most of the bromelain is found within the core of the pineapple, so consider leaving a little of the pulpy core intact when you consume the fruit.
•Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO): This oil, found in fish and dairy butter, acts as a "joint lubricant" and an anti-inflammatory. I have used a topical preparation for myself to relieve ganglion cysts and a mild annoying carpal tunnel syndrome that pops up when I type too much on non-ergonomic keyboards.
•Evening Primrose, Black Currant, and Borage Oils: These contain the fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA), which is useful for treating arthritic pain.

Is Transition to Solar Energy a Feasible Goal?

Revisiting the issue of transitioning to renewable energy like solar, DiCaprio talks to Elon Musk, CEO of Spacex and Tesla. Would it actually be possible to transition not only the U.S., but the entire world, to solar energy?
At Tesla’s gigafactory in Reno, Nevada, Musk is working on producing batteries that can efficiently store solar energy. This is a much-needed component of the solution, as the sun does not always shine, no matter where you live. A massive advantage of solar panels and batteries is that you avoid having to build any kind of electrical power plants.
A single battery pack could store energy collected by solar panels and supply power to an entire village, without having to build a power plant and draw power lines.
“It’s like what happened with landlines versus cellular phones,” Musk says. “A lot of developing countries didn’t do the landline phones. They went straight to cellular.”
Musk has calculated how many gigafactories like the one in Reno would be required to transition the whole world to renewable energy. The answer? One hundred gigafactories, measuring about 15 million square feet each. That’s all that would be required to make enough solar powered batteries to give solar energy to not just the U.S., but every nation on the globe.
As noted by Musk, were larger industry giants to get in on this, along with nations like China, the transition could be accomplished rather quickly. It would be even quicker if governments were to implement laws and regulations favoring renewable energy. Some countries are already well on their way.
About 30 percent of Germany’s energy comes from solar energy, for example. Denmark uses as much as 100 percent solar, and Sweden recently declared its intention to become the first fossil fuel-free nation in the world.

Healthy Hot Cocoa

A delicious & healthy hot cocoa recipe you can feel good about drinking!! Organic cacao powder creates a decadent chocolate flavor that's accentuated with a touch of ground cinnamon,  and a pinch of sea salt. My favorite way to fix it is with coconut or almond milk. So yummy!
Serves: 1

Ingredients

1  1/4 cup almond or coconut milk
2 tablespoons of organic raw cacao powder  1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 packet of stevia
1 pinch of sea salt
 Directions
Measure the cacao powder,  cinnamon, stevia and sea salt into a small saucepan. Turn the heat to medium and slowly pour 1/4 cup of the milk into the spices, stirring constantly until dissolved and all the spices are mixed together, making sure to press out any lumps with the back of your spoon.

When the mixture is smooth, stir in the rest of the milk and heat the cocoa until it's warm enough to drink (don't let it boil over). Pour into your favorite mug and drink right away, or dollop some whipped cream on top sprinkled with extra cinnamon or a pinch of cayenne for a little spice.

Why is this Pesticide in our Cereal?

Monsanto Is Scrambling To Bury This Breaking Story – Don’t Let This Go Unshared!
A FDA-registered food safety laboratory tested iconic American food for residues of the weed killer glyphosate (aka Monsanto’s Roundup) and found ALARMING amounts.
Just to give you an idea of how outrageous these amounts are, independent research shows that probable harm to human health begins at really low levels of exposure – at only 0.1 ppb of glyphosate. Many foods were found to have over 1,000 times this amount! Well above what regulators throughout the world consider “safe”.
